Thursday, April 6th we left for Huntsville around 11:00am. When we arrived the first thing we did was go to a museum called Sci-Quest. It was like a miniture Adventure Sciece Center. The kids had the most fun playing with the bubbles. We decided to go to the Space and Rocket Center for a couple of hours and the kids had an absolute blast and so did Allen and I. As you can see from the picture, Savannah was a little anxious about the Space Shot ride. She was saying, " I want to ride but I'm scared." After getting off the first time without riding, she watched me and the next time she rode it and LOVED it. After they closed we went to check in at the Holiday Inn and the kids swam in the indoor pool for about 3 hours while Allen and I had dinner with a poolside view. It was so much fun. The food was incredible. At around 9:00pm Savannah and I decided to go back to the room to get ready for bed so I wouldn't be too tired to read aloud. Christian wasn't ready to end his fun in the pool so long story short he and Allen didn't get back to the room until 11:00pm. Then after they dried off, Christian wanted to go explore the hotel, and you guessed it. Allen being the wonderful super-father that he is went and explored the hotel with Christian until midnight. The next morning we went back to the Space Center for a few hours and headed home.
